Los tres cerditos
Esta es una historia sobre tres cerditos.
This is a story about three little pigs.
Viven con su madre.
They live with their mother.
Un día, su madre dice: “Ahora son grandes.”
One day, their mother says, “You are big now.”
Ella dice: “Vayan y construyan sus propias casas.”
She says, “Go and build your own houses.”

The three little pigs say goodbye.

The first pig meets a man with straw.

The first pig builds a house of straw.
Es fácil y rápido.
It is easy and fast.
El segundo cerdito encuentra a un hombre con madera.
The second pig meets a man with wood.
El segundo cerdito dice: “Por favor, dame un poco de madera.”
The second pig says, “Please give me some wood.”
El hombre le da la madera.
The man gives him the wood.
El segundo cerdito construye una casa de madera.
The second pig builds a house of wood.
Es más fuerte que la paja.
It is stronger than straw.
El tercer cerdito encuentra a un hombre con ladrillos.
The third pig meets a man with bricks.

The third pig says, “Please give me some bricks.”

The man gives him the bricks.

The third pig builds a house of bricks.

It takes a long time.

But the house is very strong.

A big bad wolf comes down the road.
Ve la casa de paja.
He sees the straw house.
Llama a la puerta.
He knocks on the door.
Dice: “Cerdito, cerdito, déjame entrar!”
He says, “Little pig, little pig, let me in!”

The wolf says, “Then I will blow your house down!”
El lobo sopla.

He climbs onto the roof.

The wolf comes down the chimney.

He falls into the hot water.

“Ow!” cries the wolf.
Salta fuera de la olla.
He jumps out of the pot.
Corre muy rápido.
He runs away very fast.
Nunca vuelve.
He never comes back.
Los tres cerditos están seguros.
The three little pigs are safe.
Viven juntos en la casa de ladrillos.
They live together in the brick house.
Están felices.
They are happy.
